Student Handbook

As the Career and Technical Director for Tishomingo County Schools I can personally attest to the fact that we have the best schools, students and teachers in the state of Mississippi and I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization.

Here at the Career and Technical center we strive to provide our students with knowledge that will benefit them not only in the continuation of their education through high school and college but also throughout their careers and lives. We prepare our students to be skilled craftsmen of their own future through the teaching of trades and skills, moral and social abilities, cooperation, teamwork, leadership and problem solving.

Our ultimate goal is to educate each and every student so that they may be a well rounded productive citizen no matter what path they take in their life. This is evidenced in the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff as well as the current and former students of the Vocational Center, for example: In 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 the Tishomingo County Career and Technical Center led the state in state test results and student organization participation.

We sincerely hope that each and every student in the Tishomingo County School District will choose to be a part of the Career and Technical Center Family and we will make a solemn vow to work with any student who wishes to obtain valuable life and career and technical skills.
