Sports Announcement

9/1/20 Athletics Announcement

Under Executive Order 1520, K-12 athletic events may now allow up to 25% of its seating capacity to attend events. To meet compliance with this order, the TCSD will issue each participant 6 vouchers to use for entry into events. Only those with a voucher will be allowed into events. Admission will be paid at entry gates upon the presentation of the voucher. Masks are required for entry into the stadium/gym. At football games, guests will be allowed to sit in designated areas in personal lawn chairs. Schools will have those areas marked to indicate proper social distancing. Otherwise, guests will sit in bleachers. Crowding around the concession stand and restroom areas is not allowed due to social distancing requirements. The district is excited for sports to begin and continue. In order for that to happen for students, everyone needs to be responsible in following guidelines to protect students’ opportunities to participate and for the athletic/activity seasons to continue throughout the year.
